and i'm not too happy about it.

i used to love celebrating my birthday, but now i just feel old.

i'll be spending the day working a 12 hour shift at the hospital. joy.

valentine's day

was kind of disappointing this year. jeremy was sick, so we didn't do much. :( after spending the day sulking, i decided to take matters into my own hands! around 8 pm i made a trip to the store where i bought strawberries and whipped cream
sparkling cider

and some chocolate.
it turned out to be a pretty good night! i love you sweetheart! (and i'm glad you're feeling better!)

(i've been saving up my birthday/christmas money for quite some time now. i'm hoping i'll have enough at the end of this month!)

my buddies!

On Saturday I went to visit Tammy, Asher and Braedon! It was so good to see them! I hadn't been over for almost a month, so I was worried the boys wouldn't remember me... but they did! When Braedon saw me he got this huge smile on his face and gave me a big hug and kiss! When I got Asher up from his nap he gave me a huge hug that lasted about five minutes! He just held on tight and didn't let go! It was so sweet! I definitely won't go that long without seeing them again. I missed them way too much!

spent saturday afternoon at the Newport Beach Temple:

we took advantage of our early arrival by taking a walk around the temple grounds.

it was a beautiful day and we had a wonderful time!
(inside and out!)
we are very blessed to have a Temple so close and we need to take advantage of it more often. it's a wonderful feeling, being inside the Temple. it's the only place i can feel completely at peace.
