This morning Jeremy and I joined a group of people from our ward to support Prop 8. We stood on the corner of a busy street holding signs and banners encouraging people to vote YES on Prop 8.

[marriage = one man + one woman]I was pretty nervous before we went. I had no idea how we would be perceived by the public and I was worried there might be some harassment involved. However, I was pleasantly surprised! We got a TON more honks, waves and thumbs up than I thought we would! We did get a few thumbs down, birdies, and indecent language, but overall the support far outweighed the opposition. It was awesome to see and very encouraging! It felt good to get out there and support a good cause! I hope we'll be able to do more in the future! 
VOTE YES ON PROP 8!!!

It was so fun. I have a good, no great feeling about what we have been doing. I will get those pictures to you soon, sorry its been a little hectic latley. Your lesson today was awesome I was so bummed i had to leave to change diapers. Its something I really needed to hear about. We have been experiancing a level of persuction but in perspective to Joesph Smith it is nothing. I also loved how they stuck together. speaking of which I got a nasty prop 8 comment on my blog (my personal blog!) and I would love if you would go give me some back up. I am now searching all of our friends blogs and making sure I comment on all there prop 8 stuff and if they got any nasty comments to give them some love. We all need to stick together.
