Yesterday was my first official day of my 4th semester (and last) clinical rotation. I totally lucked out because I got to spend it in my second favorite place - the Emergency Room. I love the ER. It has lots of variety, so it doesn't get boring and sometimes you even get some action! Yesterday, during my last 30 minutes there, I was able to see a Code Blue first hand. It was a good experience and very interesting, but very sad too. That's why I want to be in the Labor and Delivery unit - it's the happiest place in nursing! Well, for the most part. Anyway, I had a great time and I'm really excited to go back. (I get to be there for my last day too!) If I'm really lucky, I'll get to do my preceptorship in the ER. Well, it takes a little bit more than luck... You have to be doing really well in clinical and have at least an 85% in theory. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

wow! I don't know if I could handle the ER. Sure sounds interesting though!
