On Monday, my sister Simone and I went to the taping of SYTYCD! She flew in from Utah (thanks again, Dad!) for a quick two days just for the show! We had an awesome time!
Getting all dolled up for the big show!
LA, here we come!
While we were driving up Beverly Blvd to the CBS studios, we spotted a restaurant that was shown on 'The Hills' called Lulu's Cafe. We decided to stop and have lunch there. It was really good!
After lunch we went down the street to The Milk Shop (also seen on The Hills)
and got a yummy fruit smoothie! They had so many desserts that all looked so good.
While waiting in line (on the sidewalk, in 95 degree weather, for two hours) we met some really sweet girls, Jessie and Amy. We also met Dane, who was trying to bum some extra tickets off people in line. (Simone has that picture on her blog.) We had two extras, so we let him tag along. Surprisingly, he was from Utah and knew a few people on the show. It was fun to meet some new people while we were there. They were all really nice and made the time go by faster!
Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures from inside the studio because you can't take anything in. But hopefully you'll be able to catch a glimpse of us on the show tonight. We were in the pit, near the center of the stage, three rows back. Look for Simone's bright blue shirt and my bright pink shirt. It's a long shot, but who knows! Anyway, the show was great and it was really fun to see it all in person. My favorites were the last two dances - Chelsie & Mark and Joshua & Katee. They were both awesome but I won't give you any details because I don't want to spoil it for you! Thanks for coming Simone, I had such a great time!
