because I have a major problem... Ever since my 4.0 was ruined last semester, by ONE point, I have zero motivation to study or strive to get any more A's. (If you have no idea what I'm talking about click here and here. Scroll down to the bottom for the second one.)
I have a midterm today and I am so not ready. You may be thinking, 'oh she's just exaggerating...' Nope. So far I've only studied for an hour and a half. (And I should be studying right now.) The problem is: I just don't care. Why should I try for an A if I don't have a 4.0 anymore? I don't see the point. All I need to pass is a C and that's good enough for me. Jeremy, on the other hand, was trying his hardest to motivate me last night. It was really nice of him to be encouraging and all, but in the end it didn't do much. The fire inside has officially burned out. And all because of one point, I might add. (Yes, I'm bitter.)

Mikelle,
How are you?? I can't believe you live in California, I was there last summer and am now moving there permanently in August!! I have a blog too! Keep in touch.
did you pass?
It looks like things are going well for you guys. Sorry it has been a while since I have checked your blog. I can't seem to juggle all I have to do. Love all the pictures and the game looked really fun. I know sometimes it is hard to get motivated but try to think of the feeling you had with your 4.0 and try to get it back. You can do it!
The question is why did you want the 4.0? Was it only because you wanted to be able to tell people that you got a 4.0 in school? Or was it because you wanted to do the best you possibly could in school? If it is the former, I got news for ya, babe. People don't care that much about whether or not you have a 4.0. Personally, I think you have been working towards a 4.0 because you are a perfectionist and you like to do the best you possibly can at everything you are involved in. If that is the case, so what about the B! Keep studying like crazy so you can feel satisfaction in doing your best.
Or you can be like me - I never strive for perfection. I always strive for just good enough. :)
