I just experienced my first BIG California earthquake. (I felt one a few years back but it was tiny.) The whole apartment started shaking and I was freaking out. I didn't know what to do! I remember learning in elementary school to get in a door jam but that just seemed silly at the time. How the heck would a door jam help if two stories came down on top of me?! Luckily that didn't happen and everything is fine. We all came out alive. Whew. I don't ever want to go through that again.

I was wondering how you did today. I figured it was your first earthquake. We lucked out today with no major damages! The boys will distract you tomorrow from your worries.
