fun with felt

The past few months I've been seeing some super cute felt flower hair clips/headbands around and I've been wanting one real bad. But they're just too expensive! So I decided to make one for myself. But obviously I couldn't stop at just one...

This is the first one I made. I thought it looked better on Kelsey so I sent it home with her. (Plus, it matched her outfit that day. So I'm pretty sure it was meant to be.)

Then I made this brown one. I think it might be my favorite.

Next, I made this maroon one. I think it's pretty cute, but it's not my favorite. It looks sorta like a poinsettia to me. (If anyone wants it, just say the word.)
Since the other black and gray one looked better on Kelsey, I had to make one for me. Then I discovered it looked better on Becky, so I made her take it home.

Third times the charm! (I like it!)

I bought lots and lots of felt, in lots of fun colors! (Felt is surprising cheap. Buttons? Not so much.) I'm currently working on a pink one. It's turning out pretty cute. Hopefully I'll have a new batch to show you next month! :)
