Out and about with Asher & Braedon

On a normal work day, I arrive at 7:30 am and take care of the boys until 5:30 pm. But yesterday was special. Jeremy and I decided to give their mom a little break and took the boys out until bedtime. I was so excited to take them with me instead of leaving them! We had a great time with the boys. We went to the park, out to eat and then back to our place before taking them home for "night, night" as I like to call it. (They're so smart - I started saying that every time they'd go to sleep and they've learned what it means!) I was pleasantly surprised at how good Jeremy was with them even though he says he's nervous to be a dad. I don't see why, he's going to be a great dad. Anyway, here are some fun memories of the evening...

Asher was fascinated with the grass. He kept trying to figure out what it was. This picture pretty much sums up his reaction. It was so cute!

Braedon, on the other hand, would pull out fistfuls of grass and stuff it in his mouth! Yum!

They both had fun playing with their toys!

I love this picture. Just two best buddies sittin' at the park...

Next we took the boys on a walk. Jeremy was nice enough to push the stroller and get the boys to smile for the camera.

This picture is my favorite! I looked over and Asher had his arm resting on Braedon's leg. And he kept it there for a while! Isn't that adorable?
After the park we took them out to eat. And boy did they eat! They wouldn't stop for the whole 40 minutes we were there. When we tried to stop, they wouldn't have it! This was Asher's reaction:

They both loved their food and it shows. Check out the floor beneath them after we were done:

Jeremy tried to clean up a little bit but it only made a dent. I feel bad for whoever has to clean up that mess. We definitely left a mark!

We had so much fun with the boys and I hope we get to do it again soon!

I am glad you two had so much fun and it's good practice for later. Just remember, you don't get to drop off your own kids at bedtime.
P.S. The sound worked on the video this time.
